Dear Grand Master, Knights and Dames and friends,

 May I cordially invite you to the refugee Mass on Saturday, 16 January, 2016 at the St. Margaret Catholic Church in Traiskirchen at 18:30 clock.

The Mass is celebrated by Cardinal Schönborn and Fr. Jochen.

 The Knights and Dames  of the Confraternity of St. Peter & St. Paul are requested to wear the mantle and medal. If you don't have a mantle, please wear a sash.
Please make a presence on this occasion of honor, and shows the solidarity of our Confraternity with the Church.
 Please tell all your friends  Catholics, Orthodox , Armenians, Assyrians, Caldäer, Syrians etc. to attend this celebration.
Please bring with your refugees who are at your care.
 Who can offer you a ride from, please report this to me by 13th. January,2016, so that we can pass the same.
I can take 4 people. The meeting point is in our office 1120 Vienna, Wienerbergstraße 16-20 / 9/1 at 16:30 clock.

History of the parish of St. Margaret
  • An eventful and lively history determines the parish of St. Margaret in Traiskirchen, whereby its outstanding position as the mother parish of western Vienna basin into account.
    For the first time in 1082 by Bishop Altmann of Passau at the point where today the Parish Church of St. Margaret is located, built a church and at the same time Traiskirchen mentioned as a parish in a document.
    1113 were issued the patronage rights to the Benedictine Abbey of Melk. For nine centuries thus bear the Benedictine of Melk Abbey for pastoral care in Traiskirchen responsibility.

    By the second Turkish siege of 1683 the existing fortified church complex was razed to the ground.     The parish was by order of Emperor Joseph II at the same time one of the oldest parish schools, this was located in today's parish center.
    In the last war days of World War II the plant was heavily fortified church destroyed again partially.
